Consulting Services Overview

It is important for me to clarify that while at one point in my career, I was a fulltime, self-employed consultant, that is no longer my end goal. Being a self-employed consultant has afforded me the opportunity to work for and learn from some of the most prestigious and respected organizations in the US that also have a global presence.  Some examples are: GE Capital, GE Lighting, and GE Railcar (sold).

I have also consulted for several law firms, most noteable being Kirkland and Ellis, and Baker McKenzie.

While I have enjoyed being self-employed and learned so much from so many organizations, my preference is finding the right position with the right organization. I still offer consulting services until I find that organization and consultant to hire has worked well for me.

My rate for services depends on several factors, such as remote, on-site, or hybrid. Also, the role I am performing and the size, scope, and duration of the project. Please find my services below:

Available Project Roles:

  • Project Leader

  • IT Business Relationship Manager

  • Process Improvement

  • Business Analyst

  • Consultant/Advisor

  • Business Enablement

  • Instructor/Facilitator

  • Technical Writer

It is important to be clear that I am not looking for project manager roles, although I am always happy to work with and manage PMs, their work is critical.

I offer full project lifecycle consulting which means that if I am hired as a Project Leader, I would be working in a combination of roles, for example performing the duties of a Business Relationships Manager and also assisting with BA duties.

Available Learning Services:

I excel in designing and delivering training because of my ability to breakdown complex topics into bite sized, digestible pieces of information that resonates from facilitator to learner in a way that is both engaging and informative. In particular, I began my career in technology starting as a software training instructor for two well known technology and software training organizations.

Technical Writing

Branded User-Manuals w/Style Guides, Admin Guides, Quick Reference Guides (Q.R.G.), Tips & Tricks Documentation, etc.

Video Tutorial Creation

Software Instructional Videos using Camtasia (numerous video formats available) SCORM and other e-learning standards. Modular, Micro-learning, Self-Paced, Quiz, etc.

Webinar Instruction/Learning

I've performed various instructional seminars over the web using Zoom, GoToMeeting, Skype, etc. My experience in distance learning goes back before it was commonplace.

Instructional Design

I can design and deliver an entire training program for your organization. Depending upon the size and scope of your project, the training can encompass each of these services listed on my page. If the project is robust, you may decide to have training designed to teach your audience exactly what they need to know (how to sell a home) that would include post implementation support and then at a later time, more advanced training to incorporate additional modules or functions of the product that you're implementing.

Classroom Training/Facilitation

I've delivered countless training programs across the US, and several countries. I have worked for two software training organizations and three software companies. I have managed, implemented, and trained on CRM, PSA and ERP as well as legal-specific products, such as Elite Legal Billing and Financial Management System, etc.
